Sno-Way International, a leader in snow and ice management solutions, has unveiled a significant leadership change. Longtime President Terry Wendorff will be stepping back from his current position to take on a strategic advisory role. At the same time, Eric Grunewald will take over as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Wendorff, who has guided Sno-Way for over 30 years, has been key to the company’s evolution into a leader in the snow and ice control industry. Although he is relinquishing day-to-day operational duties, he will remain involved in shaping the company’s strategy, helping to ensure that it continues to deliver cutting-edge products and services.
There has been speculation regarding whether Sno-Way was, or will be, sold to new ownership. Addressing these concerns, Wendorff emphasized the family’s long-term commitment to the business, stating, “The Wendorff family has made the moves at CEO as part of the plan to be sure that the company stays in the family.”
Eric Grunewald, who steps into the CEO role, brings over three decades of experience from a wide range of industries, including powersports, industrial, and commercial sectors. His previous roles at companies like Northern Tool & Equipment, Heavy Duty Ramps, and Great Plains saw him lead business development, M&A efforts, and omni-channel sales strategies. His extensive expertise is expected to propel Sno-Way into its next phase of expansion and continued innovation.
Wendorff expressed confidence in his successor, stating, “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved at Sno-Way and am confident that the company will continue to thrive under Eric’s leadership.” Grunewald also shared his excitement about joining the company, adding, “I am thrilled to be part of Sno-Way, a company with a rich history of innovation and customer focus.
