SIMA’s 28th annual Snow & Ice Symposium returns to Grand Rapids, MI, June 17–20, 2025. The event will feature 140+ exhibitors, expert-led education, and top networking opportunities for snow and ice professionals across North America.
The Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA) will bring its 28th annual Snow & Ice Symposium to Grand Rapids, Michigan, from June 17–20, 2025. Known as the premier event for snow and ice professionals across North America, the Symposium offers a packed agenda of educational sessions, networking events, and the largest trade show in the industry devoted solely to private-sector snow management.
More than 2,000 attendees and exhibitors from across the U.S. and Canada are expected to gather at DeVos Place Convention Center to connect, learn, and explore the latest advancements in snow and ice technology and services.
SIMA last hosted its Symposium in Grand Rapids in 2019, which marked the highest attendance in the association’s history. “We are excited to bring the ‘Best Show in Snow’ back to Michigan this year,” said SIMA CEO Martin Tirado. “It’s a unique opportunity for professionals to gain insight, build relationships, and discover tools that help them thrive in a challenging industry.”
Event Highlights Include:

Trade Show (June 18–20): Over 140 exhibitors will showcase new equipment, products, and services. A new “Trade Show After Dark” event is scheduled for the evening of June 18.

Facility Tour (June 17): DJ’s Landscape Management, one of Michigan’s leading snow and landscape companies, will host a tour of its new Holland facility.

Education Tracks: Sessions will cover business operations, leadership, HR, sales, and more—led by industry experts and snow professionals.

Networking Events: The Symposium includes numerous opportunities to connect, including a closing celebration at the John Ball Zoo.
