Winter maintenance professionals will have a new opportunity to connect, learn, and get hands-on with the latest equipment as Hilltip hosts its first-ever North American Fleet Days event this spring.
Set for May 21–22, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the two-day event marks a significant step in Hilltip’s expansion across the North American market. Designed with both education and networking in mind, Fleet Days will offer attendees a comprehensive look at the company’s newest innovations alongside practical training and industry insights.
Each day will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT, with identical programming to give contractors and fleet managers flexibility in choosing which day to attend.
A First Look at 2026–2027 Equipment
Fleet Days will kick off with product presentations and live demonstrations, including multiple new spreader and plow models heading into the 2026–2027 winter season. Attendees can expect a firsthand look at equipment updates and the latest technology designed to improve efficiency, durability, and performance in demanding winter conditions.
Beyond the demos, Hilltip will host technical service training sessions aimed at helping operators and fleet teams get the most out of their equipment. The agenda also includes discussions around current industry trends, giving attendees a broader perspective on where the snow and ice management market is headed.
More Than Just Equipment
In addition to the educational programming, the event is structured to foster meaningful industry connections. Lunch will be provided both days, and a networking dinner on May 21 will give attendees the chance to connect with Hilltip staff and fellow professionals from across North America.
“This event will provide a special sneak peek at our new offerings, as well as valuable product trainings and helpful insights on addressing current trends,” said Craig Sandmann, Managing Director for Hilltip North America. “It’s also a great opportunity to see our newly updated North American facility, where we continue to grow our business with industry-leading products and technology for the winter maintenance market.”

Strengthening Its North American Presence
The event also highlights Hilltip’s continued investment in North America following its 2022 acquisition of Industrial Metal Products (Industrial Truck Beds). The Fort Wayne facility now serves as a key hub for manufacturing, sales, and service—positioning the company to better support contractors and municipalities across the region.
Originally headquartered in Pietarsaari, Finland, Hilltip has built its reputation designing and manufacturing equipment in one of the harshest winter climates in Europe, where snowfall can last up to six months each year. That environment has driven the company’s focus on durability and advanced technology—features that continue to resonate with snow and ice professionals worldwide.
