Defiance Snow Plows from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula  is bringing big innovation to compact equipment with the release of its XLP Expanding Loader Plow—a versatile new attachment designed to deliver serious plowing power with the flexibility operators need on the job.

According to Cal Niemela of Defiance Snow Plows, the XLP is a spin-off of the company’s successful XMP drag plow. “What’s unique about the XLP is how the wings fold in on themselves,” Niemela explains. “That makes for a compact profile during road transport, but once you get on site, you’ve got a 14-foot blade ready to work.”

The XLP is built for machines up to 100 horsepower, making it ideal for skid steers and compact wheel loaders. With its independently controlled wings, operators can easily adjust from an 8.5-foot width to a full 14-foot span, tailoring the plow to fit changing site demands.

Designed with performance and adaptability in mind, the XLP Expanding Loader Plow offers snow professionals a new level of efficiency—whether clearing tight spaces or wide open lots.
