Chalmers Innovations has introduced the Lock and Lift Plow Kit, a game-changing UTV plow accessory that lets operators adjust blade angles from the cab using the existing winch system—no hydraulics required. Built for durability and simplicity, the all-steel kit offers in-seat convenience, faster operation, and easy bolt-on installation.
Chalmers Innovations, Inc. has announced its newest product for the snow and ice control industry, the Lock and Lift Plow Kit, a simple yet powerful solution that allows UTV operators to adjust their plow angle without manual effort or the need for expensive hydraulic systems.
The Lock and Lift system uses the UTV’s existing winch to unlock, rotate, and re-lock the plow blade, all from the operator’s seat. By retracting the winch, the blade is freed to rotate; steering left or right while reversing sets a new angle; then, extending the winch locks the blade back in place. The result is quick, in-seat adjustments that save time and improve safety on the job.
Built from all-steel components, the kit is designed for durability in demanding winter conditions. It bolts directly onto KFI 106300 and 105635 frames, with kits for other popular models like Polaris and Kolpin currently in development.

According to company founder Steven Chalmers, the design focuses on reliability, efficiency, and ease of use. “By using what’s already on the UTV, the winch, we’ve created a straightforward, durable solution that simplifies snow removal while keeping costs low,” Chalmers said.
Production is already underway, with shipments expected before the end of the year.
