BOSS Snowplow introduces the Trip Edge V-Plow and Cold Front Technology electrical system with SL4 LED lighting, enhancing performance, visibility, and ease of installation across its heavy-duty plow lineup.
BOSS Snowplow is charging into the season with a wave of innovation and product updates designed to meet the demands of today’s contractors and modern trucks. In an interview with Snow Plow News, Cory Jokela of BOSS shared what’s shaping up to be one of the company’s most exciting years yet.
“We’re launching a couple of big things,” Jokela said. “First, our new Trip Edge V-Plow. We’ve had the XT and the DXT in our lineup, and those will continue. Now, we’re adding the Trip Edge V to our truck plow offering.”
The Trip Edge V comes standard with BOSS’s all-new SL4 LED lighting system, which builds on the proven SL3 platform to deliver even greater visibility and reliability in extreme winter conditions.
That lighting system is part of a larger technological leap, BOSS’s new Cold Front Technology electrical system, designed from the ground up to simplify installation and boost performance.
“Our new wiring system is much easier to install — just one connector at the bumper — and overall, it’s a major improvement,” said Jokela. “As trucks advance, we need to advance with them. Cold Front helps us do that.”
The SL4 lighting and Cold Front system will also roll out across the XT, DXT, and Super-Duty plow lines, standardizing performance and ease of use across BOSS’s heavy-duty lineup.
“Lights are critical in our industry,” Jokela added. “We’re focused on giving contractors the visibility, reliability, and technology they need to keep working efficiently, no matter what the conditions throw at them.”
With innovation leading the charge, BOSS is once again proving why it’s a name synonymous with durability, technology, and performance in the snow and ice management industry.
