The Sectional Sno-Plow™ has an individual moldboard design, composed of 32 inch independent sections on the HD models and 30 inch on the LD models. The independent plow sections allow the plow to contour to the grade of any surface for cleaner passes. Each moldboard section independently trips over unseen obstacles beneath the snow with its spring-loaded steel cutting edge.
Arctic’s Patented Slip-Hitch™ Universal Coupler System is a standard feature on the Sectional Sno-Plow™. The Slip-Hitch™ design is a pin-in-place Slip-Hitch™ that allows for quick and easy changeover to any quick connect mounting couplers or bucket mounts to fit any manufacturer’s wheel loader, backhoe or skid steer mounting system. The Slip-Hitch™ system will also automatically adjust and then continuously readjust to the pavement height, ensuring premium traction, reduced drag and optimum pushing power.
Durable, specially-engineered polyurethane mounting blocks secure each moldboard section to the Sectional Sno-Plow’s™ mainframe, absorbing impact to protect the plow carrier and operator. Three torsion springs fasten to the steel cutting edge of each independent section. The independent mounting of each section to the mainframe makes repairs quick, easy and cost-effective.
The Sectional Sno-Plow™ is also hydraulically adjustable. This plow has hydraulic power angling that allows the plow to angle up to 25 degrees left and right.
The Sectional Sno-Plow™ is available for light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles. There are four light-duty models and three heavy-duty model plows. Please see the individual specifications in the charts below.
