Arctic Snow and Ice Products is based in Frankfort, Illinois and they have a manufacturing facility in Bradley, Illinois. Arctic is a manufacturer of innovative snow and ice removal equipment. In addition to being a manufacturer, Arctic also has a commercial snow removal division. They have a fleet of 400 vehicles equipped with the Arctic Sectional Sno-Pusher. They’ve been in the snow and ice business for a long time and the introduction and use of the Sectional Sno-Pusher has made their operation highly notable in the industry.
Snow and ice control is a tough industry and it’s important to have the right products for your jobs. The Sectional Sno-Pusher is a great machine to have to maximize productivity and to give your business a competitive advantage. The Sectional Sno-Pusher was the first of its kind on the market and continues to lead the industry in value, performance and innovation.
The Sectional Sno-Pusher from Arctic clears parking lots like no other plow. The unique sectional design allows the plow to follow the contour of the surface grade, clearing down to the pavement on the first pass, while at the same time protecting your lot, your equipment, and your operator. The conforming edge snow pusher on the front of your machine can reduce your salt usage by 40% to 50% and it’s also going to reduce your fuel and labor costs. The Sectional Sno-Pusher will also reduce the wear and tear on your machine.
The Sno-Pusher includes a host of innovative features that were meticulously designed. Check out some of the features to see if the Sectional Sno-Pusher is right for you!
Patented Sectional Moldboard Design
Comprised of 32-inch independent sections on the HD models, 30-inch on the LD models and 24-inch on the CD models to let the plow contour to the grade of any surface for cleaner passes.
Spring-Loaded Trip Edges
Each individual moldboard section independently trips over unseen obstacles beneath the snow.
Patented Slip-Hitch Universal Coupler System
With the patented floating Slip-Hitch™ design, just drop the pusher and go! It will automatically adjust and then continuously readjust to the pavement height, ensuring premium traction, reduced drag and optimum pushing power.
Mechanical Side Panels
The patented design of the Sectional Sno-Pusher™ features mechanical side panels that lift up to 9 inches high to glide over and around obstacles, providing 75% higher clearance height than competitive models.
AR-400 Steel Cutting Edges
Arctic’s AR-400 hardened steel cutting edges scrape compacted snow and ice down to pavement, eliminating follow-up plowing and reducing your salt usage.
AR-400 Hardened Steel Shoes
The steel shoes lay flat on the surface to prevent premature wear.
Polyurethane Mounting Blocks
Durable, specially-engineered polyurethane mounting blocks secure each moldboard section to the pusher’s mainframe, absorbing impact to protect the pusher, carrier and operator. Three torsion springs fasten to the steel cutting edge of each independent section.
